My name is Tuesday Meadows. I am a transgender woman who lives in Lexington, Kentucky. will be where I can write about events that I may not get published in the local newspapers or other publications here in Lexington.  I write about transgender issues but also focus on the larger LGBTQ+ community.

There are some things about me that you might want to know.  I am not a professional writer, doctor, lawyer, journalist, behavioral scientist, or …well this list could go on for ever. I am active in the local community, and someone who tries to keep up with current affairs. My focus is always going to be local. I write because  I am concerned for the future.

I do realize that national issues will certainly have an influence on things that happen here in Kentucky. I may even stray from social issues from time to time but not often. I hope that I can shed some light on what it is like to be a transgender woman here in Kentucky.

I usually have an opinion on most everything from politics to sports. I try not to argue with people. Some subjects will require that I disagree with the general public.  I will let you know which subjects are debatable with me and which are not.  I am certainly not always right, and will admit it when I am wrong. I reserve the right to change my mind. When I am wrong, I will just call it my continuing education program. I believe that I am still learning and will continue to do so.

The discussion on transgender people continues to grow. I would like the direction of the discussion to be positive but I know that can not always possible.  If you hate everything I have to say and everything that I stand for please save you and me trouble by not reading my blog.

Thank you, from your friend Tuesday Meadows. Now Tuesday’s gone with the wind.
